Much has been said and written over the past weeks, months, even years … suggesting something is amiss with Caledon’s planning process, that the Town Council and I would like to set the record straight.
Under the #CaledonUnited banner, we’ll promote our town and address each rumour or misrepresentation directly, with facts.
It’s time to get the real story out that Caledon is a great place to raise a family, to work, to shop, explore, play and enjoy nature. It’s also a great place to invest, build a business and employ skilled, honest, hard-working people.
Caledon is a wonderful, unique municipality in Ontario and within Peel Region. Its future growth and development should be determined by residents and those invested here, not by politicians from other municipalities whose interests do not include what’s best for Caledon.
If you’re a resident, help us show our community pride by tweeting, posting, sharing and telling as many people as you can. If you are a friend of Caledon, show your support by helping us get our message out through #CaledonUnited. If you have heard a rumour or something that sounds wrong, let me know at firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll address it with facts!
