Please note this important date change: The Town of Caledon’s Viva Upcycle Art Gallery reception with Mayor Allan Thompson will take place in the Atrium of Town Hall on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 from 11 a.m. – 12 noon. These creative works will be displayed at Town Hall from November – December and will then travel to the Caledon Public Library, to the Town’s Parks and Recreation Centres, the Caledon Pan Am Equestrian Park and to PAMA (Peel Art Gallery Museum + Archives).

To help the legacy of the Pan Am Games live on, the Town of Caledon partnered with Caledon-based artists and community groups through the Viva Upcycle! Art Project – a fun, creative initiative to turn the Pan Am Town-wide street banners into something completely different.

“We’re excited to see the creativity that emerges from this project. It will be fantastic to keep the legacy of the Pan Am Games alive in a fun, artistic, unique way for all to enjoy,” said Mayor Allan Thompson.

Imaginative participants include:

•           The Alton Mill

•           Biz Baz artisans

•           Caledon Public Library

•           Headwaters

•           Mayfield Secondary School

•           Silver Creek Arts

•           Caledon Community Living
